Welcome to my home page

My name is Eddie (some people call me "Bush") and this is my home page.

I am a native of Thibodaux, La., but live near Nashville, Tenn., now. While Louisiana will always be home to me, Tennessee is a great place to live with lots of things to do. This picture is from the New Orleans Saints preseason game against the Tennessee Titans at LP Field in Nashville in 2012.

It's hard to get homesick in Nashville. It has Cajun restaurants like Bro's Cajun Cuisine and Patrick's Bistreaux. Local stores carry Zatarains spices and mixes, and there's even a food truck that sells boiled seafood in the spring and summer. There are a lot of Cajuns in the Nashville area, too. So many, that there's an LSU alumni chapter here in Music City.

And there's lots of places to fish here too. They even have sac-a-lait, but they call it "crappie" for some strange reason.

I recently started a blog, where I talk about the life of a coonass in the hills of Tennessee.
