    Feb. 5, 2010, ushers in Mardi Gras locally. Fat Tuesday falls on Feb. 16, 2010, and the greatest free show on Earth starts rolling down Bayou Lafourche on Feb. 5. There are 26 Mardi Gras parades in Lafourche, Assumption and Terrebonne parishes between Friday, Feb. 5, and Fat Tuesday, Feb. 16, 2010, providing fun and entertainment for people of all ages and dispositions. Here's the tentative schedule:
